those with an ABS switch on the center dash...can you explain how it is suppose to operate correctly? Mine has 2 bulbs in it. The top one which is red lights up when the car is started. When you push in on the switch, I get an ABS yellow light come on in the main instrument cluster but is the second lite in the switch suppose to come on?
I can not seem to keep the switch down or the lite to come on. What is wrong?
I believe the ABS switches are momentary contact switches, meaning they don't stay in like the fog light switches or defroster switches. The only light I've ever had on in my 90q, or either of my 200q20v's was the light to light up the title of the switch, no arrow when pressed. Probably some safety feature so that one have to consciously turn off ABS whenever they wanted the ABS off.

HTH!
Err, not sure I agree with this....
My MY93 2.8 Coupe has the ABS switch, which latches in and lights up lower bulb (arrow shape).
Also whilst my MY95 S2 did not receive a factory fitted ABS switch (I understand they were dropped on the ABY) I have installed one for other purposes. It was from a MY92 3B and it also latches in and lights up.
