s2 stop go
hi guys .got myself a 93 s2 avant .it's supposed to have the motorsort ecu fitted @ birth .the problem is the car runs gr8 when cold but when it's warmed up and vi but my foot down as soon as it hit 0.5 bar or more the engine cuts back ,but dip the clutch and it revs free as a bird anybody got any ideas as to what it could be .or should i write to JIM'LL FIX IT

Motorsport ECU? tell us more. (Mine was socketed from the factory, strange but true)
First port of call would be to get the ECU codes pulled. Either a friendly local specialist or even dare I say dealers will be able to do this.
You can pull the codes yourself with an LED rigged up.

codes have come up road speed sensor,and maximum boost level exceeded

you really need to get your fault codes read,check all your pipework for any splits etc..most problems are down to boost leaks or minor gremlins on these cars ...Comment
