Im going to be getting some work done by a place called volksspeed in heanor. I cant realy reccomend them as I havent been to them before. They have been recommended by someone who works at euro car parts in nottingham.

Ive had a chat with them and they seem to know S2's but that remains to be seen.

Dont get your hopes up on having this problem solved in half hour. Most pple who had this issue (common issue) have been around the houses to have this sorted.

Could be a leak, or a faulty module. Hope you get it sorted and find that civic good luck.

pipes have been checked no audible leaks is there anywhere that can pressure test the system for me in the mansfield area

Audible leaks, how was was this check done?

You need to pressure test the intake system as it sounds like overboost protection.

1) Pressure test the system for leaks
2) Get the Mark H intercooler mod installed on the Intercooler (look in Been There Done That section BTDT) as your bound to have a leaky O-Ring
3) Clean MAF

i no 1 of daves sons and he said he hasnt done any head work for u.u are supposed to be a mechanic so how come u cant do it yourself ?

No my mum purchased an 80 from Dave 2 years ago and after a month or so had a head problem which Dave kindly charged £1300 for repairs. I specialize in Land Rover products and have more than enough work to be doing other than my mums audi. Hence she has now sold the Audi and bought a Discovery

bloody h.ll the audi 80 is probably only worth £200. and £1300 for a head ? i think someones head needs checking and it isn't that audi 80's .

bry pressure tested the system 2day .wastegaterpissed out all the pressure looks like diaphram .so hopefully quick fix and back on boost.
