If its pin compatible then its worth a try, but the 80 relay might be for a 4-door car in which case they may have deliberately pinned it differently.

The item you have there has I think has an 8 sec delay and fitted to chassis numbers starting 8B-R-00-001 onwards. What is the part number of the original?

There are two revisions B and D. I would think this would work without issue, I can't guarantee it though.

It's also worth noting that not a four door saloons have electric windows front and rear, some only have them at the front and manually winders in the rear.

to be honest, i think if it was the relay all the windows and sunroof wouldnt work, i just had same problem with my 90 and none of the windows would go down, though if you wanna give it a try i have one that i could sell for 50 quid tried and tested. if your interested give me a pm and i'll arrange payment and postage.

good luck hope its not the relay

These relays are EXTREMELY expensive new from Audi in the UK. I've seen some of them at over £200 at one stage...

Vonbeck, I may be able to lay me hands on one. If I find it you can have it for the cost of postage and packing.

I have the same problem except its the drivers side window stopped working. Need the same relay as in the picture above. Will happily pay postage to try a different one first.
