one touch up/down

hi there,
my aby seems to have only one touch down windows - was this the way it was meant to be - would have thought it should operate one touch up also - is my relay screwed or should i be looking for different one altogether.
ps. is there one touch operation relay for the passenger side also. any new light much appreciated.

Yours is correct. Audi deleted the option for safety reasons (kiddies and and daft adults potentially necking themselves)
On both my previous coupe's (1989 2.3e and 1990 cq20v) it was only on the drivers side. Never known it to have come on the passenger side.

All I would add is that whilst there has been several threads on here discussing this, there does not seem to be a definative answer regarding the retro fitting of this.

Some suggest that a simple relay swap should allow this to be fitted to both windows, whilst others suggest that the wiring to th motors is different, so swapping relays will not retro fit it.

I miss this feature as for the last 9 years I had it with my MY93 2.8 Coupe, so I plan to aquire the relays and try, unless someone else can shed some light on this.

97-mod S6+ has this function up and down on both sides..

97-mod S6+ has this function up and down on both sides..

So does the '96 S6 but only one touch down on the rears though.
