    MAF Connector (another parts query)

Is there a male and female connector the same as the MAF Connections.

Might build a break-out cable/box so we can monitor what MAFs are doing - could be handy since we think we were having problems with a MAF at the weekend. Just need to sticka scope on and log some data from it.

Doug, never seen a male 6 pin plug the opposite to the plug that goes onto the MAF. Don't think it exists, couldn't find it! but you could use a matched M/F pair of another 6 pin plug. This means you would need to cut into the MAF wiring to make your break out loom. Whether you would want to do that or not.,....

      Bit more tricky this one.

      The MAF connector is an 022 906 233 A, and it retails is £12+VAT. The boot for it is an 022 906 102 B (£4.20+VAT). The terminals for it are 000 979 133 (normal) or 000 979 133 A (gold plated) and are £0.88+VAT a pair.

The problem is they don't make a counterpart connector for it. You could use flying leads into the existing MAF connector but it's far from the ideal solution.

If you want to make it using flying leads the connectors you need are 000 979 129 (again £0.88+VAT a pair)

And the "parts daddy" fails at the second hurdle

I'll try and get my hands on a knackered MAF then.

6 pin break out boxes are available, I dont actually have one, but we do have 2-5 pin at work. Speak to someone at Bosch Technical. The pblic arent supposed to have the number as they get well ******, but I will post it later at work, just say you are from your local Bosch Service agent!!! they wont know. If you get a part number then just go to your nearestBosch retailer and give then the part number, they can then give you a price.

Shouldnt really give that info out, but hey who gives a damn. I dont!
