    Electric Window Motor Replacement

What a complete nightmare! I bought a new drivers side elec window motor and regulator. Unfortunately I removed the reel which the metal cables are reeled around (I think this is the regulator) in order to fit the new motor. The wiring system lost tension and when I tested the window it didn’t function properly. In fact, it made a nasty noise as if the cables were not running in the correct position on the reel. I may have ******ed up the cables now!

I was half considering driving up to the garage meet clan to get some help. The fact that I was committed elsewhere on Saturday night was the reason for not coming in the first pace.

I now have a window that doesn’t close meaning that not only the rain can get in but so can anyone in south London who happens to be passing by.

I usually go to autopool but they cant fit me in until next wk. I want to drop if off somewhere tomorrow morning. Assuming the cables aren’t knackered, does anyone have any bright ideas – not necessarily an s line specialist, just someone/garage in the Clapham area that would know how these mechanisms work.

    I need help!
