Electrical Gremlins

Hi.....

Just posting a thread to ask whether you guys have had some of the elctrical gremlins i have,

Sometimes my sunroof will open on its own, on tilt WHY???????

And just lately when i start the car the fan,indicators,windscreen wipers, and rear heated window button will not work, leave it a few minutes then theres a click from the dashboard then it all works, anyone had a similar problem????

Is yours the glass sunroof with the rotory knob potentionometer ?
If so, thats what the problem is, or at least thats where my amazing self opening and closing sunroof problem lay. Also a few of the guys on Audifans have had the same problem and it's all been down to this.

The switches sounds like might be the relief relay, it cuts things off whilst the engine is cranked, then allows them to run after.

I have the standard sunroof with the switch, used to open and close by itself when i got the car until i found the crappy aftermarket alarm was wired into it. Its been fine ever since i disconnected the alarm. It was wired in so it would close the sunroof and windows when the alarm locks the car, didnt work though.
