Search on PIAA side lights and there will be a part number reference somewhere. These new PIAA bulbs are much more "white" that the standard ones but still do not look quite right next to the extreme HID's but it is better than nothing...

I looks very nice now though

Hi guys.

MY HID kit came today.

The instruction are useless for me.. as im not an electrician, and the instructions refere to black, white, blue and yellow wire. I dont have blue and yellow. my wires on the kit are mainly black, with a red and white.

what to do ?

I got vag parts, and was following vag parts instructions.

TBH i need to study it a little more and read the complex manual that came with them and figure out the wires as they different colours than described.

I might get someone to give me a hand as im poop with electrics and always scared of getting a shock hahaha... . u should see my face when i connect a car battery

Electrics are a doodle, it's mechanics i have a problem with!

HID's from VAGParts are very simple to fit, get a 25mm drill bit from Wickes and thats the only thing i needed to buy yo fit.

Don't send them back, I think there is a fitting guide on here somewhere...

What's the problem? There should only be two wires to connect. +ve and -ve to the ballasts, and the rest should have connectors that obviously connect together.

@Ski - if it's any consolation, when I got the HID kit the wiring scared the willies out of me for about 1/2 a day until I worked out what did what. Persevere!
@Jamo - I'm much happier with nuts and bolts than I am with electrics!
