    Missing Relays and Fuses

    Hi,

I've checked my car and i had no fuses in postion 19 and 20 and there is no relay in the top left 2nd in (rad fan relay).

Should these be missing from my car?

I have put new fuses in the positions 19 and 20 but i'm concerned regarding the relay.

Should there be one on an ABY S2?

    Thanks

This is a generic relay available on all Audis of that era. Drop me your address and I can send you one.

These 2 relays shouldn't be missing should they should be Fog Light in 1 and Radiator in 2 right ?, everything's working ok so I'm a wee bit puzzled

                Anybody ?

Also is there a diagram somewhere with a description/id of the several (6?) electrical connectors on the bulkhead, I'm guessing they're knock sensor/plug related , but don't have any schematics to browse, also can somebody clarify where the hall sender cable is connected at the bulkhead , is it a separate plug ?, I can only trace it into a mass of cables and it's too dark now to do further investigation.

                cheers

Eric I am searching for a clue as to my intermittent AC issue. Whilst checking my relays today I can tell you my RS2 1995 REG has the same ones 'missing'

Thats easy enough... From left to right (looking at the engine) -

1 & 2 are the white ones linked to the coil packs. Leftmost one should be 4&5 which connects to the rightmost POS unit (N127) if nothing has been juggled since Ingolstadt.

3 is blue for the Front knock sensor

4 is green for rear knock sensor

5 is grey for the engine speed sensor (G28) on bellhousing

6 is black for the engine reference sensor (g4) on bellhouisng

The hall sensor (CMP - G40) doesn't connect at that location - its got its own connector straight into the loom. I have a spare loom so can go look for details if you like.
