VAG-COM Diagnostic tool on the bay

Got bored this lunchtime so had a hunt for stuff on the bay and came across these diagnostic kits:

Has anyone got any experience of these or similar items? Will they work with the S2/RS2?

I dont think that that conection would fit.
Hence "Connect the interface between the computer and the car by plugging one end of the
interface into a Serial (RS232) (or USB port ) on your PC and the other end directly into
the OBD-II port present in all 1996 and newer VW/Audi passenger vehicles. "

Would like to get my hands on VAG COM unit tho .

I've got a good source for Vag Com cables. You will need the 2x2 connector for the S2, this can be supplied with the OBD2 connector. Serial or USB cables are available. Software and some usefull codes are supplied too
