Onboard computer not working

The onboard computer display is stuck on instantaneous consumption, I think the function selector switch needs replacing,has anyone had this problem? is it hard to fix

same problem in mine, only the up button gets the display stuck though.

So right now im living with only using the down button.

I think you have to replace the whole stalk, but if any easy solution, i would love to hear about it
