Higher wattage H4 bulbs in 3B lights

    Hi,
Could someone please tell me if it is 'safe' to use 12V 90/100W replacement H4 bulbs in standard 3B reflector type headlights?
I have been told that higher wattages can melt the reflector and I really want to avoid this...!
I have already rewired the lights, so they are on relays and heavier guage wires, so I will not fry the switch or other wiring, just wanted to avoid ruining the units...!
    Any advice?
    Thanks.
    Chris

Hi Chris, I have a CQ 20V and the higher wattage bulbs are ok in the lamps. They melt the light switch though! I can't speak about the 3B but assume it's the same style as the CQ20V.
