Gonna put a apex avc-r to my car but not sure of the wire colors in the ecu. need to know in what color wires are where I can get the speed, rpm and throttle signal? and also ignition power and ground. found this site http://www.s2central.net/motronic_pinout_ABY.html but the short names for colors aren't familiar to me. So gould someone tell what the shortments mean? gn/bl, ws/bl, li, br/ro are the colors I need to know but didn't find IG power wire from the site

gn/bl, ws/bl, li, br/ro are all based on German names for colours:

IIRC:

gn = groen = green
bl = blau = blue
ws = weiss = white
li = lilac = purple (I am not sure about this one)
br= braun (as in Walter von and Eva) = brown
ro = rot = red

first colour name = the wire's main colour
second colour name (after the slash) = the stripe colour

br/ro = brown/red = a switched ground (IIRC)
