    Window regulator problem!

My drivers side regulator went bad. Well, a plastic piece broke crapping up the whole thing, but anyway, I got another one and am wondering how to properly install it. Its been awhile since I took it out. So, is there any proper support for the regulator? Or does it just dangle at the bottom of the door at the mercy of the cable and pulleys?

I have fitted one of these ... its not too bad ... just use common sense and a bit of thought and youll do it....

    1) strip door (screws in handle (they can be torq head screws) + lower parts and i believe some in locking area)

2)examine old system .. (if you disconnect cables first then i believe regulator is held in with 3 bolts)

    3) swap the regulators over then adjust the window seating position..

(The window seating position is quite crude .. with only 2 measurements.. which is height adjustment for either side of window - so you have to trail and error with that until it closes and seals nicely)

    4) put back together ... it should all work as it should

    gd luck
