    VAG-COM Interface adapters.

I was wondering what kind of interest there might be in the availability of VAG-COM interfaces at competitive prices?

This is thread is purely to guage the level of interest first, prices are to be confirmed.

I'm looking into the possibility of producing 2, or possibly 3 types of interface.

    1. Older style opto-coupled RS232 interface supported by VAG-Com 3.11
    2. HEX-COM, RS232 interface, for older style laptops.
    3. HEX-USB, USB interface for new style laptops. (not confirmed).

Could one of the moderators make this a poll please?, Can you make it such that forum members can vote for one of the above options, or option 4. "I already have one thanks".

Thanks for your interest. My disclaimer: This project will not progress any further than that of a pipe dream depending on the level of interest shown .

    Rob.

Poll added. It should be relatively easy to make one of these interfaces. Check out FTDI.com 245BM usb controller. Easiy configurable and not too expensive
