My RS2 has a cracked passenger side (LEFT) fog lamp lens. Naturally this cannot be bought seperately and a new lamp is 140 GBP (I'm surprised they don't only sell them in pairs :nana: )
I either need a lens, a second hand lamp or a new one direct from the supplier without Audi's mark-up...
I have an RS2 front bumper and one of my foglights has cracked too. They use very thim glass so aren't the most robust of items.
Try Vagparts for a more competitive price than the stealers.
The part is from a Porsche 993 so if you ever buy Porsche World mag there are loads of new and used parts dealers advertising there. With a couple of phone calls I'm sure you'll find it much cheaper than 140 quid.
The other option is to replace the fogs with 993 vents. There are some out there that still have the foglight incorporated. Dahlback does lovely ones but charges the earth for them.

Thanks for the prompt replies boys. I looked on the VagParts web site and the part is not listed. Is this another of those situations where it's always worth asking?
I think Martyn may have departed for Aus already and I'm having trouble getting hold of APG - I think he is involved with the new web site so that may explain both the absence of the part and his availability.
I like the 993 vent with fog light idea... I'll take a look. Could the vent be actually plumbed in to cool the brakes?
Fog lights are handed. Have a look in one of the threads for RS2 brake ducts...try using the search feature for the thread I started a few months ago. There are good and bad ways to cool brakes. I will be looking at that when my floating bells go on. The driveshafts will cause problems and a sensible solution may be prohibitively expensive as a result. It is a case of fabricating some ducs to attach to the hub to check clearances.
