What new battery to go for?

    Hello all,

Now that winter is coming in its definatlly time to replace my weak battery.
Its been playing up for a while now and only shows 9.5V until you rev the car a bit.

It has run flat a few times and each time i recharge it it gets worse and worse.

I have had a search on here but haven't been able to find any threads on replacement battery's

Can any one recommend a good place, make and model for a new one?

    Thanks in advance.

    Bo

Have you got a local Eurocarparts?
    They have listed a Bosch Type 063, 45Ah, 255/420.
Part No. 412770030. £43.42 inc Vat.

They have cheaper 'Lion' ones but I'd probably go for the Bosch myself.

I checked on the site and the one quoted above is listed under the "Audi Quattro Coupe S2" Battery section so i assume its the correct type.

              Can't go wrong with Bosch.....

I would always go for a quality battery unless selling....

              Cheers,

Yep cq20v got a 63Ah. AC might effect that, i know cars with AC got a 110Ah alternator instead of the standard 90Ah.
