    Autocheck prob?

Well it didn't take long for the first little problem to appear!

Driving to work today in slow traffic I hear a 'beep' and the autocheck display shows the fuel pump symbol momentarily (about 1/4 of a tank left) which then dissapeared and then the oil pressure symbol (oil can) appeared and stayed on for the rest of the trip.
In a panic I looked at the pressure gauge, it shows normal healthy pressure at 3.5+ bar or so driving along and the engine sounds sweet as ever.
Flicking through the computer functions it seems the stored fiqures have been lost, and it was calculating new fiqures as I drove (average mpg etc).

It looks like power was lost for a moment to the system or something, going to check as many connections etc as I can, but any ideas why this could of happened and how to fix?

Check the terminals on the back of the ignition switch. A mate had a similar problem with the digital dash on an Ur loosing signals, etc.

      Graeme.
94 UrS4 Avant, slowly modding as we go. Now gone replaced with:
      2001 S6 Avant, V8 works for me!

Cheers Graeme. Come to think of it, it did make a slightly strange noise on startup today. I think I'll get a new switch. Easy enough job?
