Does anyone know if you can buy the small soldered bulbs that go inside the diff lock button,or what size they are???

OEM ones aren't available, you'd have to buy the switch.
Go to Maplins and get three (best to do all of them) sub min wired bulbs, Maplin part number "PG77J"
You'll need to remove the switch, remove it's circuit board, unsolder the old bulbs and resolder in the new ones.
A steady hand, patience and good eyesight also help.
The hardest of the three is the bulb that lights the push button itself, that sits in a tube and is a PITA to unsolder and pull out at the same time.
Slightly brighter than the old ones, but they are the only small bulbs I have found to work well and last well.
