Oil Pressure Gauge problems

[AAH!]

My oil pressure gauge sits off the scale (the other side of 5 bar), my forum searches came up with an electrical short as a possible culprit. Any suggestions to where to start looking?

Also the oil pressure gauge illumination bulb has blown might this have anything to do with it?

Also got the fuel gauge, intermittently, not showing correct level of petrol i.e. below empty, with the low fuel lamp flashing, despite the tank being full. Could this be related?

Not related, nor with the illumination.

Oil press sensor shows you max when open circuit. Check the wires.

If water temp gauge works and only fuel gauge plays up it's most likely your intank sender that's on its way out.
