Dipped beam = the HID powered lights
Main Beam = the very bright ones
Side lights = the lame little candles

have you done the Stalk mod already?

        Cheers.

            Here Vonbeck!

            Cheers,

            Steve.

P.S. Without wishing to put a dampner on your efforts, I have DONE the Autocheck mod and I still sometimes get a bulb warning.... (I think it really does depend on the individual car and its mood swings...)

If You Are Scared Of Clipping Off The 'k' Pin, You Can Always Just Bend It Over, To Be Rebent Later If Needed.... Worked For Me, With No More Autocheck Trouble...!

Correct, I bend mine over and sealed with insulating tape.

As Jas says though, the bloody thing has a mind of its own

One day mine is quiet as a mouse, the next it is beeping like roadrunner. Go figure....

                      Cheers,

                      Steve.

I must add, that pic I posted hasn't had the K pin clipped/cut off, it's unsoldered from the PCB, so it can be replaced.
Bit I totally agree with LHD-dude and Steve, bending it over is as good a method as any

I believe all these autocheck problems are down to Amityville style possesion
