How to mount a new type stalk switch on to a old type car??(wiring)

Hi!

just got my new stalk switch in the mail. Tried to fit it today, when i discovered the fact that the plugs was not fitting the new stalk. The old plug do not fit the new switch, It should not be a problem as long as some of you have a wiring diagram or a link from wich someone have done this mod before
edit: my car is a 89 coupe q

yes I have bought the round ones to fit it in a car with the square old ones!
