heres the pic of the early type trim, which runa across the length of the car, ive circled where the lugs normally are on the lamp that the later type of trim fixes to.

with the bonnet shut you cant see the middle piece of the trim.
think all the 3b's are like this, maybe a few of the 92' cars have the later type.

I think I finally got it!
There are two different styles of B4 front ends. (The B4 front end is the one with the grill on the hood. My old 1990 B3 front end has the grill attached to the chassis).
Now I understand that there are two versions of the B4 set up. Damn I'm thick!!!!

According to my memory, only the 91'ers have the long trim. ETKA doesn't say anything about it though. =/Red cars are the fastest ones...
