  • rs2 alarm problems

so the alarm in my rs2 has been going off 15+ times a day and I have some pretty angry neighbours at work.
It had a cobra aftermarket alarm which the auto electrician removed hoping it would fix the problem.
It didn't so the alarm at fault is the factory alarm. Can anyone help me to disable or fix the factory alarm?

not sure how the alarm works. But taking out the siren should be possible to stop driving people crazy. The rest of the alarm could need some cabling done if it has immobilizer on fuel pump the fuel pump connection needs to be restored.

The factory alarm is triggered e.g. by the door switches. Disconnect the alarm horn and start searching...

I can see what I think is the alarm etc near the battery in the boot. How do I disconnect the alarm horn?

Disconnect one of the wires on the alarm horn (spade connectors) itself: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/320373.phtml (I know, it is a C4, but yours should be similar).

Im trying to upload images of the metal and the black box which I think are the alarm and horn.
it keeps saying error uploading. It’s from my iPhone 7.
There is a pc computer type connection with from the metal to the black plastic box. No spade connections to be seen. I took it off and started the car and there doesn’t seem to be any problems.
