urS4 window switches

The window switches in the urS4 should not be permanently illuminated should they?

Had a flat battery after the car was not used for a few days and without doing too much investigation this seems to be the likely source of the power drain. Have swapped the relay and the drivers switch panel and still the same.

They shouldn't light up all the time only when the ignition is on

the windows work after the ignition has been switched off-regardless of whether the doors are opened or closed.the window switches are only deactivated when the
DRIVER'S DOOR HAS BEEN OPENED AND THEN CLOSED AGAIN
that's what it says in the hand book
so if yours are staying on all the time i would check the driver's door switch first

mine goes off when i just open the drivers door. that sucks (mine is year 95)
