Audi gamma cc stereo

hi guys,

I have recently "upgraded" my RS2 stereo to 4A0035093. I assumed all my connections is corrected, but is this normal that I need to turn off the stereo when I off the car? Ie. the stereo will not turn off itself upon I pull out my key?

Yes. Alarm will sound when you open the door and radio is on.

My gamma cc is the same.

Thanks this is rather interesting to me. my previous after market stereo behaves like modern type where it will auto off when the key is pulled out.
