  • a4 central locking in to a s2 avant

Has anyone done this i basically want to use a flip key on the avant s2 why still keeping oem parts.iv used a right click system but keep having issues with keys and moisture in the old lass killing the system.

Any help or wiring diagrams would greatly appreciated

I have done that. Use B5 central locking pump and buy AH key blade for flip key or use A6 C4 locks want HAA type keys.

What do you mean by the sensor for the alarm?

Sorry ment for the key is it all part of the pump or is there more wireing involved. So I can unlock with the button on the key.

All part of the pump. You need to modify your existing wiring. Will upload wiring diagrams later.

I don't exacly remember anymore what i did with the wiring, but you need switches in the lock cylinder for pairing remotes. If you have factory alarm, then there already are switches. If not you could also wire up a simple button for pairing.

                    Forget links for diagrams before.

If you can read wiring diagrams then it should be pretty easy.
Buy A4 pump with bits of wires attached and fobs. RF anntena is integrated into the first metre of the wiring loom, one of the smaller plugs. RF key fobs came 1997 I think.

Make a list of the pinout.
terminal 30, direct to battery, on the 80 it is pin B1 and on the A4 it is pin B8
terminal 15, ignition, on the 80 it is pin A8 and on the A4 it is pin A1
ground, on the 80 it is pin B3 and on the A4 it is pin B5

smaller plugs can be opened, and some pins can be just rearranged, no soldering needed.
"power" plug is different and it must be changed.

These links come up empty. I’m doing this to my b4 and I could use these. Thanks in advance!

I have the factory key operated alarm in my 1994 b4. Trying to fit a a4/s4 central locking pump and need some help to get started. I can read wiring diagrams, but the b4 diagram is from a car with IR remote central locking and alarm. And what to do with the other vacuum outlet on the a4 pump?

You can ignore the ir part if your car does not have it.

Factory alarm makes it even easier, then there are switches on the lock cylinder.
You can connect the other outlet to driver door. One click on the remote opens then driver door, two clicks open all other doors.
