  • Anybody fitted a aftermarket wiringboard system for the S2 Coupe

    As the topic says.

Have anybody done this? Im considering replacing the old fusebox and make a new wiring loom to the lights , windows etc.

im looking at this solution: https://www.leashelectronics.com/Pro...ard-PS2015.htm

I have already taken out the old engine wiring loom that are connected into the existing wiring loom in the car and its a mess. I have taken out the AC and replaced it with a mnual one.

I want to use the stock switches for lights, washers etc. I can see its connected underneath the column with contact sticks.

Want also to replace the instrument cluster with a racepak or something.

Less is more and the wiring is a mess. I want to keep it simple.

Have seen the painless wiring solution , but im wondering if anybody have done this before or got links to other solutions ?

    Best regards

Lars, why don't you use a PDM (Power Distribution Module)? This is the modern way to do it

So just as an example of what they are & what they do:

        https://www.motec.com.au/pdm15/pdm15overview/

Basically solid state fuse / relay module which you can program - much simpler wiring provided you don't have a large number of systems

ECUMaster not long released theirs, they call it a PMU:

There are plenty more out there. This is the way I would go on a more competition focused car
