  • Problems with rear lights

    Hi,

Got problems with my rear lights. Only the brake lights are working. Parking lights doesn`t work rear or front and, nearlight doesnt work, the reverse lights doesnt work.

It worked before pulling my dashboard out. I measure no 12v on fuses for the nearlight fuses S6 and S7. If I apply 12v they are working both sides.

Im using this schematic wiring diagram 17/10 from s2central.

    Anybody know what too check?

    Thx

From memory the lighting stalk is connected to the L30 terminal and then supplies the lighting circuits - some of the dash harness is also powered from the same terminal - check the stalk is connected properly and that the L30 spade on the lighting/dash harness is also connected to the fuse board.
Check you have 12v at the lighting stalk

                The problem is now fixed.

I advertised the car on facebook and suddenly everything started to work

                Only kidding...

No 12v feed to the lightning stalk so I applied 12feed to it and everything started to work. Beeped out the wire and found a

bad connection on a contact stick in the fuseboard causing this problem. The contact stick was all the way in apperently, but i loosend it and tighten the pins in the stick and voila!

Thanks for all the tips. especially you Alex
