Battery Trickle chargers

Hey guys!
I was wondering what your experiences are with this?
Im on my 2nd one from ebay and I think its not working like the first one I bought.
first one was £12.99 this one £19.99

Am I doing something wrong here? why do these simply not work out the box? why would people sell this crap to people If it does not work.. its quite stupid.

Any thoughts?

Get a C-Tek from a reliable seller and you will have 0 problems.

hmm not always, but I will take on board your opinion. Its just with trickle chargers, deffo get it from a shop -- just got one from local car factors and it looks like its working.

I did think like you and bought a cheap copy smart charger from Aldi. It cooked the battery on my tractor and a new one cost £90!
Never had a problem with a C-tek. I now have three.

I've got a Lidl smart charger, no problems with it.

I have a Ctek and one from Lidl. They both work well.

Another CTek vote here, our Ur is hooked up all the time. Not cheap, but worth it.

I've heard the Lidl ones are same as Ctek inside but quarter of the price, I have used a lidl one for the last year or so it's great

Ctek has been on my m3 for 2 years 24/7 and I’ve never had issues
