Having trouble with my rear washer pump tested the voltage going to it and it's only 6.5v is this the issue, should it have a 12v feed

3 of the 5 wires running to my tailgate had snapped over time. This explained the inoperative wash wipe and heated screen!
It's not super easy but very doable to get the loom out. On my coupe I found connectors tucked up under the passenger side parcel shelf support. Disconnect that and the look can pull pulled up the c pillar.
To check, you can either do multimeter check or just peel back the rubber tube grommet and see. My problem was obvious - completely snapped.Comment

oh, hang on, washer pump wiring may not go through the tailgate
Oh well, if you do have rear wiper trouble; it's a suggestion where to start at least
