    Electric windows/sunroof not working

Hi, I have an Audi S2 Avant ABY 1994

My windows and sunroof have just stopped working, I can't hear any clicking when I press the switches and had about a day of intermitant working before they packed up.
I think it may be a relay problem but can't be sure. Any Ideas? and don't know where or what relay to check.

    Thanks, Adam.

Yes You have a relay problem, the relay is a "double relay" and it is on the left side under the dash, You can´t take wrong because it´s much bigger than the others.

I had the same problem and when I changed the relay it started working again.

Could be the tin cap fuse as well- 20 amp yellow on mine and located in the auxiliary fuse box along with the relay.

Getting to the auxiliary fuse box requires you to move the shelf under the steering wheel. Remove 4 bolts and it will be free. Then you'll see the fuses, red, yellow and 2 green on mine with 'tin caps'. The relay on my RS2 is the only double width one and has 324 written on it (i'm saying this from memory so don't take this as verbatim) but it is the only double width one.

I think you can discount a switch problem if both have suddenly stopped working.
