    Battery Charger recommendations ?

Can anyone recommend a good battery charger, I may not be able to drive the S2 for a while as I am about to start Chemo, but want to keep the battery conditioned.

    Cheers

I've bought a couple of ctek conditioners lately off eBay, which ae really good.
I remember reading the best buy in Autocar or similar a while ago, and they came out tops.
The ones I've got are Xs800 model.

At risk of being "negative" again....Look at honestjohn.co.uk. There are trickle chargers that can be left on permanently....
Wishing you the very best of luck with Chemo ( and after ). All the best, James.

thanks for the support guys .... I went in with suspected appendicitus ended having half my large bowel removed and then was told 3 days before my 42 birthday that I had 50/50 chance of surviving the next 5 years. (you should see the scars I have now !!! )

That said as I am generally fit and well and relatively young to have cancer, I'm hopefully getting on a phase 3 trial (last trial before it becomes generally available) for a new treatment which substantially improves the odds. So I'm attiude is to get on with life and knock the thing on the head .

On the plus side I've lost a much needed stone and a half, and hopefully lose a bit more through Chemo

Sorry to hear about your health issues, best of luck with the Chemo. I did the same about 7 years ago (for a different cancer) and although it is hard time physically and mentally, staying positive is the only and best way. Contact me via my profile if you want any advice.

As for the charger, I have a Ctek 3600 from Vertar.com and am very pleased with it...

            All the best.

            Steve.

will echo the comments here also, Good luck with the chemo.

On the subject ive seen this solarpowered trickle charges, are they worth trying since I dont always get a chance to use the S2 at moment and want to get battery topped up.

Was gonna stick this in Tried/Tested products thread, but that's in the detailing forum.

Anyway, with the current problem of a failing hall sender, I'm starting and restarting the car more often as the hall sender slowly fails, nearly flattened the battery a few times well < 10v anyway according to the gauge.

As most know it's a bit of a pain in an ABy to remove seat and connect up jump leads etc, so I found a setup that plugs into cig lighters/12v sockets of the 'flat' car and the 'good' one, it's got a nice charger circuit/led indicator, took just a few mins to get mine back up, fed cable through windows between cars as cable is only 4m long, got me back up and running a few times recently, carry these around rather than jump leads for emergencies now. I think they cost around just under £20, be easy enough to make up your own I suppose.
