    Move battery to trunk.

    Hey all!

I'm moving the battery to the trunk, so I'm looking for some good pictures of how everyone has done it.

    Cheers mate's!

Mine will be going in the same spot as varia. Here are some pics of when I mocked up the routing for the positive wire. I plan to add some split loom to protect it from rubbing in some spots.

        Hi there,

I've pondered moving the battery as well. Are the weight redistribution advantages meaningful? Any other advantages?

Also, with all the latest battery technology out there, are there lighter weight and more compact options?

I’m moving mine to make room for my 3B swap. Using an Odyssey PC925, which is smaller, but not sure if it’s much lighter than the original.
