Lifetime warranty battery for your s2 etc.

I am desperately trying to get my CQ20v back on the road. I intend to keep the car ( had it for 15 years already....

Anyway my recommendation is to get a Unipart Samson battery this is quoted as having a 4 year warranty but if you register the battery in your name they will give a lifetime warranty. Lifetime means in this case as long as you own the car. A copy of the log book will be required to claim. I forgot to register the battery about 7 years ago so I need to get another. For my CQ20V it is £42.

I assume the 3b would be the same, I don't know about the ABY.

The batteries are available from Unipart ( who now own Partco).

    NCTS by the way....

I was told by my local Unipart dealer that they no longer supply the lifetime guarantee David.
I took the old tired Samson battery in from our Range Rover the other week and they duly replaced it for a free new battery, but the new one only with comes with a 4 year guarantee.

A lot of the batteries come with a 4 year warranty but some models have a registration card which I was told this morning provides lifetime warranty.

I will buy one soon and find out.....
