    Alternator - help

I foolishly took my S2 off the road for 6 months and when I went to start it the alternator had seized and shredded the belt. It's been a long time since I dirtied my hands on a car but no problem I thought I'll remove the alernator and have it reconned. I got to the top mounting from above and after removing the undertray I got to the other 2 mounting bolts. I removed one but the other is prevented from being removed by the aux radiator. Do I have to dislodge that too or am I missing an obvious trick?
Serves me right for neglecting it.

Iain, are you talking about the adjuster with the teeth in? Welcome onto the forum too

      Alternator - help

      Hi Greg

No, I can get to the top adjuster bolt ok it's the 2 lower bolts. I've got the rear off but I can't remove the front because it fouls the IC not the aux rad as I previously said.
I'm trying to remove the alternator from the bracket should I be removing the bracket and alternator as one unit?
