Windows not operating sunroof OK

G’day from Australia.

Taken me a long time but I’ve finally tracked down one of only 25 S2 Coupes officially imported here. I previously owned a CQ20v in the UK before emigrating in 2006.

No doubt one of many posts to come as I get into its history and quirks. Been browsing the forums for some time before I could say I own a S2.

So, to begin. Windows stuck down but sunroof working OK. I’m initially guessing not relay as the roof works. Switches maybe or something else.

The big rectangular relay under the steering wheel controls the windows and sunroof. Open it up and check for cracks in the solder. If its been very hot in the car this contributes to the issue.

Yep - exactly this. Soldered the cracked joint in the picture and I have windows again! This post was helpful. Same joint too.
