  • Central Locking IR Fault Diagnosis

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but does anyone have a logical method for systematically diagnosing central locking issues?

Mine will centrally lock successfully from either door but will not via the infrared. Obviously tried changing fob battery but that didn't make any difference, so wondering what I should do next.

    Many thanks!

I had non functional IR remotes as well. Fixed it by relearning the remotes.
See the attached manual for the A8. The IR part applies here as well.

Thank you very much. Synchronisation didn't work - I tried that earlier, but will give the reprogramming a go tomorrow.
