Driver power windows not working , but passenger side works , backwards

    As the weird topic sais.

The driver side doesn't work, the relay clicks, but nothing happens. The passenger side works, but it goes down when I press the up button, and vice versa, on both panels, can I've put the connector wrong on the passenger door? I'm starting to suspect that.

If the relay clicks, is it broken? Or can I have missed to connect the driver side lift too I'm starting to get really crappy in plugging in my connectors now. I missed the relay for the wipers so they stopped in the middle of the windshield.. LOL I really must look at this tomorrow. But if the relay clicks, can it be broken then or is it DEAD when it doesn't work?

to check if the window button works, swap the buttons from left to right.

If the button works, try the relay / heat temp sensor all under ur dash.

if thats fine, could be the motor.

Ive exhausted a lot of information from this forum regarding windows, fuses and door pannels.

do a search for "window" by user "ski", you'll get many results with me crying "my window is broke!!" and a lot of helpful feedback from community

Both of the buttons work, I've tried switching connectors between them, I must have forgotten to connect the power window motor to the harness or something. LOL! I suck

        Possibly, yes.

The relay clicking is the contacts switching over: this would indicate that the electrical circuit to the little coil in the relay is ok, and that the relay is probably mechanically intact. It doesn't mean that the electrical circuit which is supposed to be formed when the contacts switch over is happy about life.

Agree with Ski - try a search. This thread could be a starter for 10.

        Best of luck.

        Ck.
