I have lost illumination on the right side of my dash and the external temp display, bulbs appear to be ok , is there a common break on the dash loop?

Hi,

yes sounds if the electric plate is brocken (I had it on my S2 (the same prob)), to find the error on this plate is very difficult, buy a new one or a used at ebay or at a car recycling station.
