3b engine loom question

hi all.
My 3b fitted 80quattro suddenly stopped while driving a few weeks ago.
The problem is as following: No spark, no fuel pump running, and possible no injectors.
I think the problem is in the stock 80Q wiring, and the 3b loom is connected to that somewhere. Does anyone know what leads in the 3b loom that needs plus or ground to connect them diectly to a switch and then just put the switch on to start..??

I hope someone have the colourcodes on the leads that need connection to start..

Did it run with the 3B loom? If so... It could be the crank position sensor. Check your pin on the fly wheel? Make sure its there so the sensor is getting a reading. This cuts the FP and injectors, but will allow you to crank.

My pin dropped out whilst driving and it took me ages to find out why i could not start her again.

Terry, yes the car has been running for about 4 years with no problems whatsoever, It just stopped while driving in 20mph..
i thought i heard a little knocking sound when it stopped from the engine/gearbox but not sure.
is it possible to check the sensor for the flywheel and the flywheel pin without removing the gearbox?
I`ve had some thoughts about the crank position sensor also, cause the sound sounded like something down there, so still no:

fuelpump running (checked this with 12V and it runs fine when jumpwired)
no spark
possible no injector signal (hard to determine due to the short pulses, but the plugs dont get wet after some cranking so...)

Yes the fuel pump will run when bridged with 12v,
You can check to see if the pin is there, i used a cable tie and cranked the engine over to see if i could feel it but nothing.

Lost my flywheel pin last year and removed the starter to find it missing and then got our ace welder at work to put it back on via starter aperture (It will not be coming off again), so no gearbox removal necessary. I was lucky I found the pin lying on the garage floor!
PS. Had similar symptoms as you describe, turnd on ignition and fuel pump would come on as normal for a second to pressurise the system and could crank the engine but nothing else!
