When I am in the car and press the lock (driving or not) the central locking operates to lock the doors but imediately unlocks again. The central locking appears to work fine otherwise and locks properly from both door locks.
When I got the car the previous owner he had disconected the alarm from the central locking as it had been playing up. Don't know if that is linked or not but thought it worth mentioning.
Don't know if vag-com can actually comunicate with the central locking or not but there are no fault codes.
Any advice before I start stripping doors to test stuff?
