needle of oilpressure gauge sticking

Hi All,

going to the ring last thursday I noticed the gauge showing low oilpressure.
So I stopped to check but the needle didn't move, not evne with iginition turned off.

A closer view showed the foil on the face of the gauge being bubbly, holding the needle.

Has anybod experienced this before?
Is it fixable??

Never heard of it in those guages only the speedo/rev guages not sure if you can get the faces second hand ebay.de maybe if not then might be a new guage.

Mine is like that too; a bit sticky, but woorks. Looking for a new one

i saw some recently on ebay.de pulled from another car. I doubt these would be offensively expensive from vagparts to be honest or you could try someone like allaudi or 4rings spares as they usually have an s2 in for breaking.
