remote central locking

i have finally got batteries for my main key and i want to know how to re-activate the remote central locking. i have a spare key if i require one in the ignition barrel and one in the door, any sequence i should be following? thanks.

Try to put ignition on and keep presed the close doors buton for more then 5 sec.

Lock the doors on the key
Press the button to unlock the doors
then unlock with the key
This should reset the system and away you go.
