i read the s2central page.amazing!i didnt know all these things exist...
only thing is i just got out of bed and i cannot seem to get it all right.Here is my question:

I get from the gas station a full tank,go home stationary on a leveled surface.I turn the hidden functions and the autocheck tells me that i have eg.620(62 litres in the tank) instead of a full 64litres.

as i already moved the needle indicator on my full tank to show the exact full tank,i didnt do anything with the blue connector and didnt use the hidden function either.I could refill,check the litres and then fiddle with both the blue connector to augment or lower the litre indication of the autocheck and put the needle with the allen in the according position,right?

How do i change the needle gauge and the blue connector screw accordingly so as to make the autocheck believe that my tank now is completelly full so as to still have 2litres extra in reserve before the trip computer tells me i need a refill?

ok this is odd...my rs2 avant which should have 64L tank read on the autocheck that i now have 67.1litres in almost full cause i did 24Kms !!!

the fuel gauge sender i replaced recently is the original RS2 part number....
how can i have more than 64litres then???? can the movement of the needle with the allen key cause this??Cause that is all i tampered with,not the blue connector

ok a little update...
firstly i couldnt find a long and slender enough screwdriver to help me modulate the blue connector so the speedo had to gently come out from the right side(drivers view) in order to get my hands on the blue connector.After everything was in front of me,went for some gasoline

as my tank was fairly full,i managed to squeeze 5.5litres in the tank.then,went home and started the calculations.I drove 1km according to the speedo counter.

So,my digital fuel litre counter now shows almost 70litres full!! on an AVANT???
it read up to 690 when stabilized.

SO,
i turned that down to 639 and also finetuned the needle as well to read full.

My next test will be to reach excactly the middle of the tank,in the gauge,read the digital gauge and go for a refill.I will post the results!

funny thing is that the instructions manual on the RS2 says that the fuel tank is 61litres.Do they count off the reserve?and if so,i thought the reserve was about 8litres not 3!
