Stock piece to weld into your car? unless the car has been smashed at the front and stripped doubt someone will cut one out for you, you might be able to get a repair panel from say audi or the other option is to fabricate one from scratch.
I'm wondering how hard it would be to get an S2 ABY coupe battery box. I don't have room under the hood, but need a stock piece to weld into my car.
Any idea where to get one or where to look?
Thanks,
Eric
When you find one, have them cut the sheet metal around the box, about 2 to 3 inches away from the box, and ship the whole thing. You can then remove the sheet metal attached to the box with spot weld drill. After you remove sheet metal from the box itself, you can use the surrounding sheet metal as a templet for cutting the hole under the seat.
