after market voltage stabilizer

I doubt, that this thing may have any use in your car. It looks like capacitor, which holds lets say 13.7v, battery is also capacitor however it holds only 12v. Virtually all equipment (stereo systems not in count) in the car is able to run in around 10-15v voltage range, including ecu, which has internal voltage stabilizers (so this thing will do nothing with it). Usually ECU even has voltage compensation table to take care about different power flowing through injectors...
One more thing, there is voltage regulator in your alternator. It does the job to stabilize in car electricity.
Snake oil IMO.
