Jaysus Jay - what have you got planned there ?

Big monster with lumpy cams and solid lifters - is it really light enough to rev that far - it must be mental if it does... Care to share the scoop ?

Probably a stack dial fitted in the place of whats in there for that, just don't go for the chav fast and furious huge items that you see in nova's that struggle to get to 6000rpm's.

I have a stack on my bike and they are excellent! Seen those aftermarket dials (Nove/Corsa etc) and they read wild anyway.

dry sump and the help of £ and some good tuners/builders!!

Had thought about replacing the rev counter with a stack or SPA item, just wondered what others that have pushed the rev's had done.

What about a V6 rev counter. Would show 20% to little. Custom face with new numbers and it's fixed

That gives me a idea, there is a little toggle switch on the side of the clocks that I think switches between different models, does anyone know what exactly this does??

S2-bo do you think your clock contacts could make a face hat goes to 9500???

Has anyone fitted a different rev counter into the standard pod???

Ive not updated my thread for ages as things have been going very slow (bet you all know that these 'projects' take loads longer than planned!!! ) but basicly my engine will be running:

ported, big valve mechanical head, Cat cams (11.5 mm lift!)
mod'ed wider cam belt and vernier pully and gears
                          JE pistons (standard cc's)
                          dry sump (key to rev's!)
                          PK racing crank
titanium rods (if i can get someone to make them)
                          alloy fly wheel (cheers Cee's)
                          GT??? turbo:mischeif:
                          iconel custom build exhaust manifold
                          Furans inlet manifold
                          custom intercooler
                          ARP studs every where
                          block/mains girdle
4" down pipe and custom system
                          etc...etc...etc...£...£...£

Aelred and Corey ( )are doing the graft as I havent got the time anymore.

                          Just want her back now
