Seriously unless Ross-Tech have certified it Vista compliant you may have to run in on an OS such as windows 2000 or XP.
I know the new versions are Vista compliant but if your using version 409 for instance I doubt it will work.
Works with Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4,
2000, and XP
There is an installation note on the website for the new version
The default installation folder is C:\Ross-Tech\VAG-COM\
It is essential NOT to install in the \Program Files\ tree in on systems running Windows Vista.Comment

Oh, and Paul Nugget is right, buy the bloody thing like the rest of us, it is fantastic software we would be lost without. Rosstech deserve the cash, besides, folk not paying for it means others have to pay more for it.
